First time I've ever seen Kestrels mating. Great start to the morning, especially for the Kestrels. I noticed both were around the same area, and just happened to be photographing the male as the female made her move, flew over and seduced him. He had a couple of looks as though he couldn't believe his luck! There was a bit of squawking, and a lot of flapping. Those claws must hurt! Here's a few of the photos. I also put a video together.
