Look at that - Meadow Pippit with attitude!
Glorious, the Curlew over a Springtime meadow. Come on Curlews!
Watch out for ground nesting birds!
The Meadow Pippit looks so chic from underneath, and yet a very drab speckledy brown when still.
"Help - I'm stuck !" This little Meadow Pippit fledgling (a meadow "pipette" maybe..?!) was not really stuck, it was very busily flitting from cover to cover. Remarkably well camouflaged against the old dry stone walls, when still.

Look at that unexpected flash of white banded with black on the tail. The otherwise rather drab, but well detailed, Meadow Pippit in flight.
